James Bond in the subjects

Materials:

None

Instructions:

The students stand in a circle and one student-‘James Bond’ stands in the middle. James Bond ‘shoots’ a random student and gives them an academic question. In physics/ chemistry it could be about the periodic table and the question could be ‘What is the chemical formula for water?’ When the question is set the student needs to answer within 10 seconds. If they cannot answer they go into the middle and become the new James Bond. The teacher can help find examples of academic questions.

Examples:

  • History – When did the Vikings exist?
  • English – Name two countries that speak English
  • Literature – name an author
  • Biology – Name two rodents.
