Instructions:

The students stand in a circle and throw a small bowl/bean bag from student to student around the circle. They are only allowed to throw when they have named a concept within a given academic category. Some examples could be nouns, times tables, capitals, birds, politicians, elements etc. if a student cannot answer they give the ball to the next person in the circle whilst they run around the circle and back to their place. If they do not make it around the circle they either have to run a new lap or do three jumping jacks before they are back in the activity. A rule could also be made that students ‘die’ if they cannot answer, so in the end there will be one winner.
